I live in southern lawyers driving hybrids, although I don't fit the description. I grew up in working class people and beach houses. The map is funny but a bit distasteful. There has been some ado about it in these parts the last few days.
Baydog, I too grew up it what once was a working class town, Sea Girt. Certainly the demographics of Sea Girt has changed drastically since then. I taught for 35 years in the Pines, have never been to the Detroit region and have a sister that taught school where Philly Trash and Canadian's abound. My take on the Map is that there are distasteful, funny and down right stupid descriptions. By the way, have you ever visited the Rutger's area?
Pandabonium, you might have a valid observation about the Occupy group, don't say it too loud, Baydog's neighborhood might be ground zero.
I live in Texas! exas! xas! as! ! .. Well, I am not shouting.. just the echo. But I do really live in Texas. :) I also am studying at a real estate school until next year.

ReplyDeleteNever been in New Jersey, but I think the map ought to be very useful to the occupy movement. ;)

ReplyDeleteMy thoughts exactly, one wiff of the aromas coming from BD's kitchen and would be all over.
