Corky, ten years as a faithful companion. We sailed and fished together, walked the beach and even traveled back and forth to the Keys each year. She loved boats and boat yards, my kind of girl, forgive the Dragon Fly, she was just groomed and the Groomer always had to make a statement.
Corky, because she was a corker |
What a sweet doggie face! Her dragon fly looks cute.
ReplyDeleteMomo's groomer puts a kerchief on her each time. Usually OK, but we recently told her not to bother except for certain special months. :)
Momo has become such an important part of our lives we can't think of life without her. We know you treasure those ten years. Corky was a special girl.
In my lifetime, I have had a couple of other dogs, none of them had the personality, character, or showed affection and loyalty like Corky. They were also special but Corky wins the prize.
DeleteWishing you many more years of happiness and pleasure with Momo.
Thanks, Sandscraper. I too have had other dogs. My first, Peppi, a standard poodle, was very special, as was Misty, a rescue border collie mix. That humans and dogs can develop very strong bonds is rather magical to me. Momo literally wandered into our lives at precisely the time she was needed most - and we didn't even realize it until later.
