  1. Must be the 4th or 5th time I've looked at these pics. Sorry I didn't find time to comment before. Looks like a beautiful trip and a lot of fun to boot. I'd come up with some witty thing to say about whiskey, but then, as many people have told me over the years, "I don't know Jack". ;) Awesome ride though beautiful country and interesting places to visit along the way. Enjoyed the pics. Well done!

    1. Pandabonium, thanks for the nice comment. I think about you two and your fellow countrymen and women when I hear about Volcanos erupting and killer Typhoons descending on you Island group. One nice memory I do have of kyushu is visiting Mt. Aso, lucky for us it was uneventful but beautiful. Take care, be safe.

  2. Thank you Sandscraper. We hope to visit Kyushu some day ourselves. Coming from Hawaii, I am used to volcanoes and having grown up in California I am used to earthquakes, so I guess we're covered! However, I must admit that since 3/11 we do react more to earthquakes than we used to. Sigh.

Anyway, thanks for sharing your adventures and please keep doing so.
