In case you were wondering, this is not a weather Blog, but what in the hell else do you do with your Blog, when you are confined to your domicile for days on end with rain falling all around you?
My motorcycle trip was cancelled.
You can't sail.
Yard work is out.
Gout has ripped through your big toe so you can't even walk.
The answer, you talk about the weather, you know, "how's the weather up there"? Weather has always been interesting and mysterious to me, I guess because all my interests and hobbies rely on the condition of the weather. So, my blogger reading friends, bear with me until these fronts clear out and more meaningful pursuits can be attempted.
We will now turn our attention to Tropical Depression Fourteen, like the movie, Out of Africa.
Out of Africa - great movie, great book (as was the related "West with the Night" by Beryl Markham).

Actually, Out of Africa was a rare case where the film was far better than the book.
