Final look at Fran's "Nanny's Nook"

With the project finished, it's time to turn my attention to a trip to Maine, a motorcycle ride to the Smokey Mt's. and then my return to the Keys before the leaves drop and the snow flies. It will be good to get back on the water after such a dry spell here in NJ.

  1. I marvel at your ability and skill Sandscraper. What a wonderful retreat you have created.

I couldn't read the brass plaque over the door - too dark. What does it say?
Also, commentary about the paintings/prints would be nice. :)

Anyway, K and I would each enjoy relaxing in such a place (maybe not at the same time - hehe). Well done, down to the details.

Happy trails in the Smokey Mountains and safe travels to the Keys.

  2. I will make an effort to edit the post to identify the photos and provide a little background information. By the way the plaque says, "Custom built by Charles Best". I had some leftover plaques from my father's days of building custom furniture for the family. I hope that the self tribute is not offensive, but rather a tribute to my father that his son actually learned something from him.
