  1. I want one. I could barely hear you though. Is that the Manny that always visits you, or are they all named Manny? Magical beasts

  2. Turn up the volume! No we actually get several different Manatees visiting us on a fairly regular basis, especially when the water stays this warm in the winter. They all have different names, there is a lady down here that is sort of a guardian, she has given them all names. You might recall from a post last year, a Manatee named Luigi was killed from wounds received from a boat propeller.

  3. Awesome clip, Sandscraper. Fascinating, gentle creatures.

    We have a distant relative of the Manatee here in Japan called the Dugong that lives in Okinawan waters.

    ....

    When you find a manatee in your bathtub, playing with your toys, making lots of noise and causing trouble;

    And, he’s washing his big flippers; and using all your soap;
    and filling up your tub with giant bubbles;

    Say, please, Mr. Manatee, don’t tickle me, ‘cause I’m as ticklish as a kid can be.
    I won’t tickle you, if you don’t tickle. And, we can play together.

    Please, Mr. Manatee, while you're in my tub, we should sing a song that goes rub-a-dub-dub. Rub-a-dub-dub, a manatee is in my tub. And, life couldn’t be much better.
