THE REEF PROVIDES US WITH DINNER!

Netted and in the boat, next stop dinner

Paul, and a nice Mutton Snapper
After some action trolling patch reef, we decided to find another reef on which to anchor. With chum in the water providing incentive for fish to gather, we baited our jigs with shrimp and proceeded to catch a variety of reef fish. We caught Yellow Tail, Mangrove Snapper and then came the moment you wait for while reef fishing; Paul hooked into a very nice Mutton Snapper, which after a substantial fight was netted and boated. Paul caught the Snapper on a medium weight St. Croix rod on 20# test Power Line, a circle hook jig head with half a shrimp provided the attachment to the fish.
